Primrose Cottage was originally the milking parlour. It is ideal for that romantic break. With its beautiful decor and four poster bed it gives that touch of luxury. Facing south it enjoys the sun all day (weather permitting!) It has a large decked and paved patio to the front as well as its own lawned area. The front door leads into a small, well lit entrance hall off which is a step down into the bedroom with its wealth of exposed ceiling beams. Wall lights, up-lighters to highlight the roof timbers, a four poster bed and rustic pine furniture add to the charm. A pair of French Windows open out from the bedroom onto the decking.
Also off the entrance hall is the bathroom with bath and electric shower over the bath.
The fully equipped kitchen has a beamed ceiling and beautiful solid oak doors on the units. Attractive terracotta colour floor tiles and recessed ceiling lighting make the room very welcoming. A washing machine, dishwasher and freezer are all provided as well as microwave and an electric cooker.
The lounge also has a beautiful beamed ceiling . Quality leather seats add to the feeling of luxury. A cd player/radio, television (with Freesat box), dvd player and a selection of books, puzzles and games is provided. A pair of French Windows open from the lounge onto the decking.
The cottage is fully centrally heated and all energy costs are included in the rental. We are sorry but the cottage is not suitable for wheelchair access. There are 2 steps built into the decking. In addition, there is a step down from the hallway to the bedroom.
