Farmhouse Cottage is part of the original farmhouse. It has four bedrooms all of which has its own bathroom en-suite. From the car park it is a short walk (including three steps) to the front door. This leads into a beautiful, large (30 feet by 10 feet) sunroom. One end of the sunroom has quality cane furniture whislt, at the other end, is the dining table. Blinds are provided as the room faces south and east. Off the sunroom are the lounge on one side and the fully equipped kitchen (including freezer, washing machine and dishwasher) on the other. Both rooms have beamed ceilings which give a cosy and traditional atmosphere . The lounge and sunroom have ample seating for upto 11. The lounge has a log effect electric fire to back up the oil-fired central heating if necessary . A cd player/radio and television (with Freeview "digibox") are provided as is a selection of books and games . Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms, two of which are double bedrooms. The bathrooms for these two rooms contain a toilet, washhand-basin and a shower. The third bedroom is a large twin room containing a double and a single bed. The fourth bedroom is also large and contains a double bed as well as a pair of 3' wide bunk beds. The bathrooms for the larger rooms contain a toilet, washhand-basin, walk-in shower and a bath. All bedrooms contain coordinated bed linen and curtains thus adding to the cottage charm.
The cottage is fully central heated and all energy costs are included in the rental. Farmhouse Cottage is available to groups of less than 11 outside peak season with the rent being reduced accordingly. Guests who may suffer from some infirmity should note the three steps to the front door and that there is no ground floor bedroom available. From January 2009, the weekly rental will be from Friday to Friday.
