Cowslip Cottage

Cowslip Cottage  was the dairy in days gone by.  It comprises a well lit entrance hall off which is the bathroom and a short corridor to the rest of the accommodation.  Whilst not suitable for severely disabled guests, the cottage has been designed for guests with mild to moderate mobility difficulty .   It is all on one level and access from the car park is easy via a gently sloping stone-flag path and wooden decking.  (The cottage is not suitable for wheelchair access as the doors are standard width and the position of the bed would make access very difficult from a chair.)  The bathroom contains a bath with support handles and a walk-in shower, again with support handles.   The toilet has a drop down support arm.  From the front door, a short corridor leads to the bedroom and the main room of the house.   This is a combined lounge/kitchen.   There is a log stove and fully fitted kitchen (standard worktop height) with built-in washing machine, a dishwasher, freezer and fridge as well as dining table and chairs.   Two leather armchairs and fireside table complete the furnishings. A televsion (with FreeSat box) and dvd player are provided as well as a bookcase with a selection of books, puzzles and games.   From the lounge, two sets of double  French Windows open on to a private quadrangle area with table, chairs and parasol.  

The cottage is fully central heated and all energy costs are included in the rental.
